A massive 52-page website and consolidated brand strategy following the M&A of Buxton, Elevar, and Audiense — communicating a unified value prop while preserving legacy brand authority.
When Buxton acquired Elevar and Audiense, they formed the ultimate consumer analytics platform: social intelligence, physical location analytics, e-commerce tracking, and AI-powered consumer insight all from one source.
I collaborated closely with Audiense’s CMO and Head of Content to align on a “Branded House” strategy that would establish unified value while grouping legacy products under new names, each with a distinct audience and use case.
Phase 1
Unified positioning & messaging strategy
Phase 2
Legacy brand SEO / AEO
Because the three legacy brands were so well-established, preserving their authority was key. But the old sites also had a lot of outdated content that needed to be pruned.
I worked with Tiller Digital’s in-house SEO to map high-ranking legacy content to the new website. We also devised a strategy to preserve branded keywords (like “Buxton”) on the new website, to capture bottom-of-funnel leads hunting for the legacy products by name.
Phase 3
Strategic website redesign
Given the complexity introduced by the M&A activity, the new website tells a surprisingly simple story: Audiense gives consumer brands the 360° audience intelligence they’ve always wanted.
The website makes it clear that it’s not about any one product’s capabilities—but how everything combines to let you (finally) know your audience.
